ORTLIEB Duffle Zip bag, 60 l, black
The sophisticated ORTLIEB DUFFLE Zip bag is designed for expeditions that would overwhelm ordinary luggage: rain, mud, ship decks and roof racks – the DUFFLE Zip is your companion for remote locations. The DUFFLE Zip now uses TIDURA® strong material – a proprietary PVC-free fabric manufactured by GDS, ORTLIEB’s sister company operating in the adjacent plant in Heilsbronn. Each roll of fabric travels only a few meters from factory to factory, but the result is a bag designed for thousands and thousands of kilometers.
The main storage compartment is IP67 certified – the bag is dustproof and resistant to submersion up to one meter for 30 minutes. The waterproof TIZIP® zipper, equally manufactured by GDS, runs across the entire width of the bag and allows easy access to all contents; it can be secured with a padlock.
An external pocket with IP64 protection allows you to keep frequently needed items handy without having to open the main compartment. High-frequency welded seams throughout the bag mean there are no threads, gaps, or weak points.
This new DUFFLE Zip model with a TIZIP® zipper also features a sophisticated carrying system: the backpack straps are now fully detachable and adapted so that one strap can be adjusted for shoulder carrying, while both straps together transform the bag into a backpack with a detachable sternum strap.
An internal organizer keeps things tidy and protects the TIZIP® zipper from snagging when the bag is fully loaded.
Made in Germany, the DUFFLE Zip bag comes with a five-year warranty and ten years of spare parts support after production ends.
