Grivel G12 LT New-Classic EVO crampons, black/yellow
The Grivel G12 LT New-Classic EVO are classic 12-point crampons designed for demanding high-mountain hiking, glacier ascents, and easier climbing on ice and mixed terrain. Compared to the previous G12 model, they feature a redesigned front and rear section and a new connecting link, which increases confidence when moving on steep and hard snow or ice.
Sharp front points reliably grip ice and snow, reducing the risk of slipping during traverses, while extended second rows of points improve stability on steep slopes. Rear points with multiple teeth and notches facilitate a secure descent in technical terrain. LT technology optimizes material thickness and reduces weight while maintaining high durability. The universal New-Classic EVO binding is easy to operate and suitable for most hiking boots; the asymmetrical design accounts for the difference between the left and right foot.
The front and rear sections are connected by a Grivel FLEX BAR link, which, thanks to its openings, allows for quick adjustment to boot length. For smaller sizes, simply rotate the link by 180°. The proven Antibott system flexes the rubber insert with every step, preventing snow buildup under the crampons. Thanks to the Grivel Crampon System (G.C.S.), individual components can be replaced to customize the crampon configuration; compatible parts and accessories are available separately. The crampons can be easily packed by sliding the front and rear sections into each other and folding the plastic clips towards the crampon body.
