Fenix HM51R Ruby rechargeable headlamp
Fenix HM51R Ruby Rechargeable Headlamp
Fenix HM51R Ruby is a powerful rechargeable headlamp that offers a light output of up to 500 lumens (ANSI) of neutral white light (4500 K) with a beam distance of up to 85 meters and additionally features red LEDs. It is powered by a single RCR123A rechargeable battery, which is charged directly in the headlamp via a micro-USB connector. Alternatively, a disposable CR123A lithium battery can be used for power. The control button also has an indicator LED, so you will always know when to recharge the battery. The tail cap of the headlamp is magnetic, allowing it to be easily attached to any ferrous surface. The HM51R has seven different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high performance and long runtime (up to 110 hours). The headlamp is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to ensure consistent light output even as the battery voltage decreases (during gradual discharge).A full metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling, and is fully waterproof according to IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to detach the light from the head strap and use it as a small pocket flashlight. The Fenix HM51R headlamp is an ideal companion for various sports activities, outdoor trips, household use, and work.
The Fenix HM51R headlamp is a limited edition based on the Fenix HM50R headlamp, offering numerous improvements. For example, thanks to the cleverly designed control, the headlamp can be turned on directly to white light or directly to red light. If you are interested in all the differences between these two models, read the article Comparison of Fenix HM50R and Fenix HM51R Ruby Headlamps.
All headlamp parameters (lumen output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Usage
From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the headlamp on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use. With the headlamp off, it turns on to the last used white light mode by holding the button for 0.5 seconds. With the headlamp off, it turns on to the last used red light mode by double-clicking the button quickly. With the headlamp on, it turns off by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
Switching output modes: If the headlamp has white light on, you can cycle through the output modes by short pressing the button in the order of 3 - 30 - 150 - 500 lumens. If the headlamp has red light on, you can cycle through the lighting modes by short pressing the button in the order of red - red flashing - red SOS. The headlamp has memory and will always turn on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).
Battery level indication: When the headlamp is off, a single press of the button will activate the battery level indication for 3 seconds, shown by the colored backlight of the button:
Solid green: 100% - 85%
Flashing green: 85% - 50%
Solid red: 50% - 25%
Flashing red: 25% or less (recharge the headlamp as soon as possible)
The indication works correctly only with rechargeable RCR123A / 16340 batteries.
Charging:
1. Turn off the headlamp. Connect the USB cable to any USB power source. Open the sealing cover of the charging port and plug the micro-USB connector of the charging cable into the headlamp.
2. During charging, the LED indicator in the button glows red; when fully charged, it glows green. A completely discharged Fenix ARB-L16-700 battery will charge in approximately 1.5 hours.
3. After charging is complete, disconnect the cable and carefully seal the charging port with the rubber cover to prevent dust and water ingress.
4. If storing for a long period, recharge the headlamp before using it again. The used battery has no memory effect, so it can be recharged even if not completely discharged.
5. The headlamp can be used while charging, but only the lowest mode is available.
Low battery warning: If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower output modes. If the headlamp is already in the lowest output mode and the battery is critically low, the indicator in the button will turn red and flash every 3 seconds. However, the headlamp will continue to shine until the battery is completely depleted.
Note: The low battery warning is calibrated only for the voltage of rechargeable Li-ion batteries.
Warnings
- Do not disassemble the sealed part in the headlamp's head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- If using a disposable CR123A battery, do not attempt to recharge it in the headlamp.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the headlamp will be properly protected against water.
- If the headlamp is blinking, not switching to higher output modes, or not turning on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost depleted - recharge or replace it.
- The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The rear part of the headlamp is loose - tighten it.

Translate by GoogleShow the originalToto keby som vedel, tak túto čelovku nekúpim.
