Fenix WT16R rechargeable LED flashlight

Fenix WT16R is a versatile rechargeable flashlight with a long-range spotlight and a side floodlight with an output of up to 300 lumens. The light source in the long-range spotlight is a pair of Cree XP-E2 LEDs, the side light contains several COB LEDs. This side light has a wide beam with uniform intensity, which is ideal not only for illuminating a workplace, but also has a warning yellow flashing function. The Fenix WT16R flashlight is also equipped with a sturdy steel clip for easy carrying on a belt or pocket. It is also equipped with two strong magnets, one is located on the side and the other on the bottom. The flashlight can therefore be easily attached to an iron surface in two different positions. With its versatility, the flashlight is designed specifically for work use, but it will also serve well at home and during camping.

The flashlight is powered by a built-in 3.7 V / 2000 mAh Lithium-polymer battery, which is charged via a cable through a USB-C connector (cable is included in the package).

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use of the Fenix WT16R LED flashlight

The flashlight is turned on and off by pressing the button for 0.5 seconds. Once turned on, the lighting modes are switched by briefly pressing it. To switch between the long-range and side floodlight, hold the button for 1.2 seconds. The flashlight has memory and will always turn on in the last light mode after being turned on again.

The control button can be locked to prevent accidental activation, e.g., when transported in luggage. When the flashlight is off, double-click the control button quickly (within 0.5 seconds). The flashlight will then flash twice, signaling that it is locked. To unlock, double-click the button again quickly.

Overheating protection: when operating at maximum output, the flashlight will gradually reduce the lumen output to 200 lumens after five minutes when using the long-range spotlight, or to 150 lumens when using the side spotlight.

The flashlight is charged using the USB-C connector, which can be plugged into a computer, power bank, mains USB adapter, or car USB adapter. During charging, the indicator LED next to the button glows red, and after a full charge, it turns green. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes using a 2A source.

Charge level indicator: After a brief press of the button (the flashlight must be off), the LED battery charge indicator next to the button is activated. Green light means the battery is charged to more than 85%, green flashing indicates 50-85%, red light indicates 25-50%, and red flashing means the battery is charged to less than 25%.
