The Fenix LD35R is a versatile flashlight equipped with three types of light: white, red, and blue, for a wide range of occasions. The main white light is provided by a top-tier Luminus SST-40 second-generation LED with a maximum output of 1800 lumens and an impressive beam distance of up to 337 meters, ensuring darkness will never be an obstacle again. For flexible illumination of your workspace or surroundings, the flashlight features two powerful COB light strips on the sides, allowing for either one-sided or 360° area lighting. Using the Fenix LD35R Flashlight

The flashlight may come with an insulating cap inside on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.

Turning on/off and switching power modes - To turn the light on or off, press and hold the button for approximately 0.5 seconds. You can switch between power modes at any time during operation by briefly pressing the button.

Switching between the main light, side colored light, and side white light is done by rotating the selector ring.

Memory for the last set mode - In main white light mode, the flashlight remembers the last used setting for the three basic modes: 20, 100, and 350 lumens. Side lights always turn on in the lowest mode.

Locking/unlocking - To prevent accidental activation, e.g., in a backpack, double-press the button quickly (the flashlight must be off). The flashlight will then flash in eco mode, indicating it is locked. To unlock, double-press the button again quickly, and the flashlight will turn on in the lowest mode of the currently selected setting of the selector ring. Accidental activation can also be prevented by loosening the tail cap.

Battery replacement - Unscrew the tail cap and insert the battery with the positive pole facing the head. Then, fully tighten the tail cap again.

Charging - Open the dust cover and connect the USB-C charging cable to the flashlight's charging port. After charging is complete, reseal the dust cover. The typical charging time for the included ARB-L18-3400 battery is 3 hours with a 5V/2A USB source. The indicator light is red during charging. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the indicator light turns green. The flashlight can be used in any mode except strobe while charging, depending on the battery's charge level, all modes may not be available, and the total charging time will be extended.

Battery level indication - When the flashlight is off, briefly press the button for three seconds to activate the battery level indicator. Green indicates sufficient charge (100% - 85%), flashing green 85% - 50%, solid red 50% - 25%, and flashing red critically low battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is low, the flashlight will gradually and automatically switch to lower power modes. In the lowest mode, the battery indicator will flash red to alert you that the battery needs to be recharged or replaced. This function only works with original batteries.

Intelligent overheat protection - When the flashlight is used for extended periods on high power modes, a significant amount of heat accumulates. When the flashlight reaches 60°C or higher, it will automatically reduce its output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, the output will gradually increase again.

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the flashlight head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only the high-current rechargeable Li-ion 18650 batteries mentioned above.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Adhering to these rules will ensure the flashlight is properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight does not switch to higher power modes, flashes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is almost depleted - recharge it.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The tail cap of the flashlight is loose - tighten it.
