Fenix HL16 headlamp, 450 lm, green

The new generation of the compact Fenix HL16 headlamp offers a luminous flux of 450 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 104 meters. It is powered by three commonly available AAA batteries. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 LED with a white light tint, located in the main reflector. For supplementary lighting, there is a red Everlight 2835 LED. There are a total of 6 power modes, including an SOS strobe mode for emergencies. The headlamp is equipped with a wide, comfortable headband. The headband is perforated for quick sweat wicking and features reflective elements for good passive visibility, for example, when running on the road. With a weight of only 97 grams, the Fenix HL16 is well-suited as a running headlamp, as well as for camping, hiking, or other outdoor activities. With a choice of several colors and an affordable price, the HL16 is also great for children.

All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix HL16 Headlamp Parameters

• It uses a powerful white Luminus SST-20 LED and a red Everlight 2835 LED, both with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

Usage

White light is turned on by pressing the right button for 0.5 seconds; red light is turned on by holding the left button. White light has memory and will always turn on in the last selected mode. Red light always turns on in the 5-lumen constant-on mode. You can cyclically switch to other brightness levels at any time during operation by pressing the respective button. The headlamp turns off by holding either button for 0.5 seconds.

White and red light cannot be activated simultaneously.

The control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, e.g., during transport in luggage – hold one or both buttons for 3 seconds. To unlock, hold both buttons for 3 seconds.

Overheating protection – if the internal temperature of the headlamp exceeds 65°C, it will automatically reduce the output.

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.

• If the headlamp is blinking, not switching to higher power modes, or not turning on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
