Fenix PD32R rechargeable flashlight, 1400 lm, black

The rechargeable tactical flashlight Fenix PD32R offers a high luminous flux of up to 1400 lumens (ANSI) and an impressive beam distance of up to 344 meters. The above-average beam distance (considering the flashlight's size) was achieved using a top-tier Luminus SFT-40 LED, which creates a very well-focused beam. The flashlight can be powered by one Li-ion 18650 battery, which is included in the package, or by two disposable CR123A batteries. The battery is recharged via a USB-C connector cleverly hidden under a screw-on cap near the head of the flashlight, where the battery charge level indicator is also located. The Fenix PD32R features five different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high performance and long runtime (up to 70 hours). It also has a strobe mode for attracting attention and for emergency situations, which can be quickly activated from the off state by holding down the tactical button. The PD32R impresses not only with its compact size and excellent performance but also with its dual-spring construction, making it highly resistant to recoil when used on a weapon. On a long gun, the light can be operated with the Fenix AER-02 remote pressure switch. Therefore, we can recommend it for service in security forces as well as for general outdoor and hunting use.

Usage

An insulating cap may be present on the battery from the factory. Remove it before first use.

To turn on, press the tactical button at the end of the flashlight; for momentary activation, hold the button down. The flashlight remembers the last selected mode (except for strobe). When the flashlight is on, lighting modes (except strobe) can be cycled by pressing the button. To activate strobe, hold the button fully pressed for 0.5 seconds (this works even from the off state). Pressing again will return the flashlight to the previous mode. Pressing the button will turn off the flashlight.

Intelligent overheat protection - due to the flashlight's high output of 1400 lumens, it generates heat. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest output can be used again.

Low battery warning - the flashlight will gradually and automatically switch to the lowest mode and flash 3 times every five minutes.

Charging the flashlight - Unscrew the protective nut under the flashlight head and connect it to a computer, mains USB adapter, or car USB adapter (not included) using the included USB-C cable. You can also use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector for charging. During charging, the indicator LED opposite the charging connector glows red, and turns green when fully charged. Charging a fully depleted battery takes approximately 3 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time. The flashlight cannot be turned on while charging.

Notice

• Do not disassemble the sealed part of the flashlight head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example, due to battery leakage.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight blinks, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  
  • Batteries are nearly depleted - replace them.
  • Contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The head, body, or tail cap of the flashlight are loose - apply lubricant to the O-rings and tighten both the head and the tail cap firmly.
