Fenix HM62-T is a high-performance running headlamp offering a luminous flux of up to 1200 lumens of neutral white light with a beam distance of 150 meters. The advantage of this light shade is a more natural and contrasting color rendering in the terrain. The headlamp also features a red light with an output of 5 lumens. The package also includes a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is charged via a USB-C connector on its body. The headlamp is especially suitable for night running, cross-country skiing or ski touring, hiking, fishing, or caving. The all-metal construction made of lightweight magnesium alloy ensures high durability, optimal cooling, and at the same time is fully waterproof according to IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters, all while maintaining low weight.

Like other Fenix trail headlamps, the HM62-T is equipped with a headband featuring the Sport Fit System with a single dial for easy adjustment of the headband length. This allows you to quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp on your head with one hand. The headband is perforated for quick sweat wicking and features reflective elements for good passive visibility, and also has an integrated whistle for emergency situations.

All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Usage

The battery may have an insulating cap inside the flashlight from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.

• With the headlamp off, turn it on to low white light mode by pressing the button for 0.5 seconds.
• With the headlamp off, turn it on to red light by double-clicking the button quickly.
• With the headlamp on, turn it off by pressing the button for 0.5 seconds.

If the headlamp is on, you can cycle through the output modes by short-pressing the button in the order of 5 - 130 - 400 - 1200 lumens (when white light is on). When red light is on, you can cycle through the output modes by short-pressing the button in the order of 5 lumens constant light - 5 lumens SOS.

Battery level indication - After a short press of the button (the headlamp must be off), the LED battery level indicator in the button will activate. Green light indicates 85-100% battery charge, flashing green light indicates 50-85%, red light indicates 25-50%, and flashing red light indicates less than 25% battery capacity.

Locking the headlamp against accidental activation - Loosen the battery cap of the headlamp by a quarter turn; this will interrupt the electrical contact and prevent the headlamp from turning on. The button can also be locked electronically - with the headlamp off, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. After locking, the light will flash red. To unlock, press and hold the button for 3 seconds again.

Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower output modes. If the headlamp is already switched to the lowest output mode and the battery is critically low, the indicator in the button will start flashing red. However, the headlamp will continue to shine until the battery is completely depleted. Note: The low battery warning is calibrated only for the voltage of rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

Charging

Remove the battery from the headlamp. Connect the USB cable to the side USB-C connector; the indicator light on top of the battery glows red during charging. It turns blue when fully charged. With a USB power source of 1500 mA or higher, charging time is approximately 2.5-3 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from the memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time. After charging, fully tighten the headlamp's battery cap.

Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• If using disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to recharge them in the headlamp.
• Remove the battery from the flashlight if you will not be using it for a long time or if the batteries are already discharged. Otherwise, some lower-quality batteries may damage the headlamp.
• If the headlamp is blinking, not switching to higher output modes, or not turning on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is almost depleted - charge or replace it.
  • The headlamp cap is loose - tighten it.
  • The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
