Atsko SILICONE WATER GUARD EXTREME textile impregnation, spray, 350 ml
Highly effective preparation for ensuring the water resistance of textiles and leathers based on silicone polymers. During drying, they strengthen. Thanks to its patented formula, the preparation is unique in that it does not impair the breathability of membrane textiles (Gore-TEX®, Sympatex®, ...). Compared to ATSKO SILICONE WATER GUARD, it is supplemented with an effective UV filter. Therefore, it is suitable for all tarpaulins, tarps, and other textiles that require water repellency and at the same time protection against mold, fungi, algae, and also discoloration due to UV radiation. It is used for awnings, boat covers, sunshades, outdoor wood, masonry, and furniture.
• A single spray is sufficient for a perfect effect. Re-spraying is not recommended.
• It is tested for all textiles made of natural and synthetic fibers: nylon, polyester, composite materials, wool, etc. It is also suitable for suede and nubuck leather. It does not damage the breathability of sandwich structures with Gore-tex® and other membranes.
• Improves the breathability of clothing and footwear.
• The created water-repellent film is completely odorless after drying.
• Minimally changes the color of natural materials (suitable for testing).
• The treated surface is resistant to the formation of dirt stains and marks.
• Restores and replaces the factory silicone hydrophobization of leather shoes.
• 10g CO2 is used as the propellant (the preparation leaves no carbon footprint).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Shake well before use. First, perform a spot test to check for color change (assess after drying). The surface to be treated must be clean and dry. When applying, hold the can vertically, with the nozzle upwards, 15-20 cm from the material being treated, and spray slowly until the surface of the material is evenly moist. A single spray is optimal. Use the treated product only after the preparation has completely dried and cured (polymerized).
Note: Low temperature, high humidity, or reduced air circulation can extend the drying and curing time up to 48 hours.
