The award-winning Tempor helmet is designed to provide the cutting-edge advantage needed in time trials. - Trusted for its speed for over a decade, the Tempor helmet remains a favorite among time trial and track athletes. The modernized interior for a more comfortable fit still retains every detail that makes it one of the fastest in the world. Developed to give Swedish rider and time trial expert Gustav Larsson an advantage at the 2012 London Olympics, the helmet is as slippery as possible for maximum efficiency in cutting through the air. The shape is the result of extensive CFD (computational fluid dynamics) modeling and aerodynamic simulations. It is designed to ensure optimal airflow around the entire body, not just over the head. The helmet thus directs air away from the shoulders, ensuring you cut through the air as efficiently as possible. Two air inlets at the front help reduce air resistance, allowing air to flow through the helmet and over the shoulders rather than creating too much turbulence when pulling forward. This airflow also ensures adequate ventilation during any effort. The helmet is modernized internally to reduce pressure points and make it easier to put on and take off, and it also has an improved retention system that provides both comfort and security.
