This wheelset takes key innovations from our premium wide gravel wheels and is accessible and robust enough for the demanding gravel rider. With a mega-wide rim that integrates seamlessly with approved race gravel tires, this wheelset is the fastest on the market!
On gravel, drag and vibrations from rough surfaces slow riders down. To prevent this, Zipp applied Total System Efficiency specifically to the challenges of gravel roads. The wide rim profile increases air volume, allowing for lower tire pressures without the risk of burping. This means you minimize surface vibrations while maintaining cornering grip and climbing traction. The rim profile also creates a smooth transition with gravel tires for unmatched aerodynamic efficiency on gravel.
And even though the 303 XPLR S rim is extra wide, it is lightweight to keep you fast and fresh even on long, demanding days in the saddle.
The Zipp 303 XPLR SW is only compatible with approved tires.
An ultra-wide internal profile for reduced rolling resistance and the ability to ride at pressures below 30 psi (2.1 bar). ZR1 hubs are used with a CenterLock interface for disc brakes. The Zipp ZR1 hub is designed in Germany with an improved seal design for better durability and faster engagement with 66 points of engagement. Maximum tire pressure can be 50 psi (3.45 bar).
