Proterra Tough rims are reinforced with the proven Dual I-Beam support while increasing tire sidewall support at lower pressures. No corners were cut on the hubs either, which are equipped with premium EZO bearings, and the rear hub is fitted with a 6-pawl, 5-degree engagement driver.
