Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Chainring, Drop-Stop B, 1x12/13, SRAM 8-bolt
The Wolf Tooth Direct Mount chainring for SRAM 8-bolt cranksets replaces the original spider and chainring with a single, rigid piece of machined aluminum. Thanks to the patented Drop-Stop® B tooth profile, it offers reliable chain retention, long life, and excellent self-cleaning in mud, which will be appreciated by riders in challenging terrain as well as during sporty rides on road or gravel bikes.
The chainring is optimized for SRAM Eagle and SRAM Flattop chains and is fully compatible with 12- and 13-speed SRAM groupsets, including SRAM Red XPLR AXS. The chainline is 45mm for standard axles and 47.5mm for Wide axles, with sizes ranging from 38-52 teeth. Sizes 38T to 44T are in a classic, non-aero design. For maximum security, the manufacturer recommends using a rear derailleur with a clutch and tightening the included T20 stainless steel bolts to 4 Nm during installation.
