WTB Proterra Light i23 TCS 28" front wheel, 12x100 mm
WTB Proterra i23 is made of lightweight 6069 aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy ensures optimal strength while maintaining low weight. The front wheel weighs 817 g. The rim surface is treated by blasting (sandblasting). All this guarantees long lifespan and durability.
Internal rim width of 23 mm provides an optimal profile for road and gravel tires. Thanks to the rim width, you can fit tires with a width of 30-42 mm on your bike.
The rim profile with optimized walls provides a perfect combination of stiffness and durability.
The hubs use high-quality EZO bearings, their advantage is easy serviceability without the use of special tools or original jigs.
TCS is WTB's standardized tubeless system, which provides optimal performance and reliability. TCS components reduce weight, increase traction, practically eliminate flats, and have established themselves as one of the most reliable tubeless systems available. Proterra wheels also feature Solid Strip – an additional tape located in the center channel of the rim under the classic tubeless tape, its purpose is to facilitate assembly, ensure the tightness of the entire system, but also to prevent, for example, damage to the classic tape.
Each Proterra wheel uses the TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) and comes with an already installed Solid Strip, TCS tubeless tape, and black alloy valves.
