A folding tire with LiteSkin sidewall considerable weight is saved on the wheel. Most saving is in the size 37-406. It seems unusually narrow, but we deliberately manufacture and recommend this size, because the performance is more than adequate for kids bikes.
He‘s safe. The K-Guard and 50 EPI carcasses provide the necessary puncture protection.

These tires are recommended for children's bikes, but I'm 50 years old I used them on my Dahon Mariner I7 folding bike. The ride quality on the small wheels immediately improved. It's incomparably better than the factory Schwalbe Road Cruiser 20x1.75 tires. They're more supple over bumps, safer, and more effective on all surfaces (except for loose sand). I don't notice any increase in rolling resistance, just a slight hum on the pavement. They're also reinforced with Kevlar, so I don't worry about punctures. This is the largest tire/tread size on this bike—only a minor modification to the front fender mount was necessary. A very significant upgrade to the bike. I recommend them!
Opony polecane w rowerach dziecięcych, ale ja mam 50 lat Zastosowałem je w składaku Dahon Mariner I7. Jakość jazdy na niewielkich kołach od razu wzrosła. Jest bez porównania lepiej wobec fabrycznie zastosowanych Schwalbe Road Cruiser 20X1.75. Większa miękkość na nierównościach, bezpieczeństwo i skuteczność na wszystkich nawierzchniach (poza kopnym piachem). Zwiększenia oporów toczenia nie odczuwam, jedynie lekki szum na asfalcie. Jednocześnie wzmocnione kewlarem, więc nie martwię się o przebicia. To największy rozmiar opony/bieżnika na tej konstrukcji - potrzebna była tylko niewielka modyfikacja mocowania przedniego błotnika. Bardzo istotny upgrade roweru. Polecam!
