Continental eContact Plus 28x2.00" tire, wire, reflective
The Continental Econtact Plus is a tire developed specifically for urban e-bikes, commuting, and cargo bikes, where safety, comfort, and longevity are key. The compact tread reduces rolling resistance, saves battery, and still offers reliable grip in urban environments. The special construction resists not only small debris like glass or thorns, but also larger objects like nails, significantly reducing the risk of punctures.
The tire carries ECE-R 75 certification and E50 marking, making it suitable for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h. The SafetyPlus Pro Breaker technology combines a highly flexible rubber layer with durable PolyX fibers, ensuring high puncture protection while maintaining low rolling resistance and stable bike handling even under heavy loads. Integrated reflective elements increase visibility in traffic, making the tire an ideal choice for intensive daily urban use.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
