GORE-TEX® Infinium™
A windproof and highly breathable membrane that prevents wind penetration while allowing moisture to evaporate. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the chilling effect of the wind during physical activity and simultaneously reduces the risk of overheating. The outer material surface is treated with a water-repellent finish.
ThermoDrytex Plus material
Thanks to the elastic and thin inner layer of brushed fleece, this fabric is ideal when high warmth and material flexibility are required. 84% Nylon and 16% Lycra ensure its softness and elasticity. The fabric surface is treated with a silicone finish, which provides partial water resistance.

I returned the hat, I didn't notice that half of the hat is mesh - including the ear flaps. I can't imagine wearing such thin material on the ears in winter or GORE-TEX on the forehead in fall/spring.
