If you have a SCOTT bike, you need this adapter to mount the Shotgun Pro child seat. The Shotgun Pro spacer (supplied with the Shotgun Pro seat) will replace one of the original 5mm spacers on your bike, and this Scott Syncros adapter will replace the other spacer.
