Sokat megyek kavics kerékpárral mtb ösvényeken és oda nagyon jó a gumiköpeny. Sárban de még hóban is kiválóan kapaszkodik és fékez. Aszfalton elég gyorsan kopik, főleg, ha hátul van, ezért érdemes gyakran cserélgetni az elsővel. Alacsonyabb nyomáson megsokszorozódik a kapaszkodási felület és erő.
