A truly jawdropping performance. I heard about RBD from a friend and after that I read the review at Zero Friction Cycling. The test results were so out of this world, I had to try this lube out. Astonishing performance. If you follow ZFC"s guide and properly degrease your chain, and put the Rex lube on it, you will get a totally silent, clean and shiny drivetrain, even on a 12.5% ovality front ring combo. Even after close to 40 hours on the turbo in ERG mode (shiting after 10 hours), no real loudness, chain runs great, no performance drop. With a KickR V5, and a P2M NGeco, I realised that I lost so much watts with other overhyped products. Instant 4-5 watts over any MucOff product, and 6-7 over the factory grease. This is the net saving measuring the PM and the trainer. The measured values differ from -2 to 13 watts, but you have to subtract the accuracy of the meters and filter out the outliers. What truly amazing is, that the lube not just holds its performance but after 8-12 hours it gets even better. I am totally sold to Rex, will even try that race spray, because I am pretty confident, that those last 2 watts will be in those bottle too. Follow Zero Friction Cycling"s guidance and if you try this out, I am 100% sure you won"t be sorry for it. Usually not writing reviews, but this product does everything which is in its advertisement, and maybe even more.

Edit1: First PC1130 chain wore out completely (0.5 drop in practivally everywhere) only after 3000+ km, which is really good for this chain. Used it on the turbo, inside in ERG mode, which sure helped a lot, but recently I could only get out 2000 kms from these, so happy with the result.

I have been using the classic (red) Rex for a long time, in the fall I started to lubricate with this. In the rain, of course, it washes it off, and it is necessary to lubricate it. In normal autumn conditions (dry, wet leaves, some small drizzle), my chain can last 400-500 km with this wax, sufficiently lubricated. However, it must be applied thoroughly, a drop on each link, and preferably still rolled with the ring so that the wax flows better. After leaving, I just wipe the chain with a rag. Under these circumstances, this lubricant will definitely not be expensive, and it will also save me a lot of time.

Dlhodobo používam klasický (červený) Rex, na jeseň som začal mazať týmto. V daždi ho, samozrejme, vymyje, a je potrebné premazať. V bežných jesenných podmienkach (sychravo, mokré lístie, nejaké drobné mrholenie), mi s týmto voskom vydrží reťaz dostatočne namazaná aj 400-500km. Treba ho však aplikovať dôkladne, na každý článok kvapku, a najlepšie tým krúžkom ešte potočiť, aby vosk lepšie zatiekol. Po výjazde reťaz iba pretriem handrou. Za týchto okolností mi toto mazivo rozhodne nepríde drahé, a ušetrí mi aj kopu času.

If I thought that Squirt was the best lubrication for MTB taj after trying Rex I changed my mind. The advantage over wax is its durability is 3-4 times, but the drive is clean (without dust, sand and deposits of dirt). The cassette on heavy gears is a little black but not from dirt, the chain is clean as from wax but not dry as after wax. The disadvantage is the price, if it cost half the price, the competition would have nothing to eat

Ak som si myslel že Squirt je najlepšie mazanie pre MTB taj po vyskúšani Rexa som zmenil názor. Výhoda oproti vosku je jeho výdrž aj 3-4 násobná ale pohon je čistý ( bez prachu piesku a nánosov bordelu ) Kazeta na ťažkých prevodoch trochu čierna ale nie od bordelu reťaz je čistá ako od vosku ale nie suchá ako po vosku. Nevýhoda je cena keby to stalo polovicu konkurencia by nemala čo žrát

Excellent lubricant. I tried switching to REX wax but switched to this lube after 2 months. When waxing, I was bothered by the noise after waxing the chain. With this lubricant, the chain is quiet, a little dirt sticks, but it is enough to wipe it after driving. Endurance on the road approx. 500 km.

Výborné mazivo. Skúšal som prejsť na vosk REX, ale po 2 mesiacoch som prešiel na toto mazivo. Pri vosku mi po navoskovaní reťaze vadila hlučnosť. S týmto mazivom je reťaz tichúčka, trochu špiny sa nalepí, ale po jazde stačí utrieť. Výdrž na ceste cca 500 km.

It is worth absolutely every penny it costs. Best chain lube I've ever had. The chain doesn't get dirty, it's quiet and lasts over 400 km with one lubrication (outings on forest trails in the dry and in the wet).

Je hodný absolútne každý cent, čo stojí. Najlepšie mazanie na reťaz, aké som kedy mal. Reťaz sa nešpiní, je tichučká a vydrží aj cez 400 km na jedno namazanie (výjazdy po lesných trailoch v suchu aj za mokra).

So far, after 90 km, I have to say that it's great. The chain is quiet and clean. Driven in the forest and in the dry, I'll come home and wipe it with a cloth and that's it, if it lasts another 100 km in this condition, I won't use any other lubricant ?

Zatiaľ po 90 tich km musím povedať že super. Reťaz tichá a čistá. Odjazdené v lese a v suchu, prídem domov pretriem handričkou a hotovo, ak vydrží v tomto stave ešte 100 km, tak iné mazivo už nepouzijem 💪

I've been buying for a long time and I'm satisfied, the packaging will last almost as long as the chain. After lubricating the chain, you can immediately feel the difference. It is thick, so I recommend applying it the day before departure.

Kupujem už dlhšie a som spokojný vydrží mi to balenie skoro na životnosť reťaze. Po premazaní reťaze hneď cítiť rozdiel. Je hustý preto odporúčam naniesť deň pred výjazdom.

Much cleaner chain even after 300 km than with normal oils. It applies perfectly, I would have appreciated a little more quantity for that amount...but that's just the way it is, you pay for quality.

Oveľa čistejšia reťaz aj po 300km ako s bežnými olejmi. Maže perfektne, akurát by som za tú sumu ocenil trochu väčšie množstvo...ale tak to proste je, za kvalitu sa platí.

Naozaj niečo menej lepí prach. Na suchom a v prašnom prostredí je počuť reťaz už po 40 km. Bežne mi ale vydrží na jedno namazanie cca 70 - 80 km. Ostávam pri tomto mazaní.

It can easily last 300 kilometers on a dry road bike with one lubrication. I personally have ridden over 300 km and have not heard it yet. And it doesn't get dirty...just minimal.

Na jedno namazanie vydrží na cestnom bicykli v suchu 300 kilometrov v pohode. Osobne som presiahol 300km a ešte ju nebolo počuť. A nešpiní...iba minimum.

excellent lubrication, does not stick to the chain, after 400 km the chain is still clean and well lubricated. so far I have only driven it in dry conditions and top.

vyborne mazanie, nelepi sa spina na retaz, po 400km retaz cista stale dobre namazana. zatial som to jazdil len v suchych podmienkach a top.

Very good lubricant. It lasts approx. 150 km for one lubrication in any conditions and does not "blacken" the chain.

Veľmi dobré mazivo. Na jedno mazanie vydrží cca 150 km v akýchkoľvek podmienkach a "nezčernáva" reťaz.
