Nova Ride Carbon Ceramic cage for SRAM Rival AXS

3 mm wall thickness carbon cages ensure maximum possible torsional stiffness when changing gears. Thanks to the upper 14-tooth and lower 17-tooth pulleys, the movement of the chain is optimized and its bending and friction are minimized when passing through the pulleys, which can save 4-6 watts compared to a standard cage. Both color anodized pulleys are made of strong AL7075 duralumin alloy and equipped with full ceramic bearings with minimal rolling resistance, which do not require any special maintenance or lubrication! Full ceramic bearings feature high-precision ceramic balls as well as ceramic races made of silicon nitride. The main advantages of full ceramic bearings compared to standard bearings are their longer lifespan, lower weight, greater strength, lower rolling resistance, and excellent anti-corrosion properties. Their weight is approx. 60% lower, while being 7x stronger compared to steel balls. The seal used minimizes friction and protects the bearing against dirt ingress.

Note: intended for 12-speed cassettes with a maximum 33-tooth largest cog.
