The new upgraded Minion DHR II model is a top-tier downhill tire of the second generation, developed for the most demanding conditions of downhill racing. It must meet the demanding criteria of professional riders in the UCI World Cup races. Like its predecessor, the Minion DHR II uses ramped knobs, but the tread pattern is improved for more effective braking and acceleration on loose surfaces. Pair the Minion DHR II with a front DHF for the ideal aggressive riding combo.|
Dual Compound - a harder central compound (62a) ensures low rolling resistance with slow wear, while a softer compound (57a) used on the sides offers excellent lateral shapeability and great tire grip in corners, whether in the rain or in the dry

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
