The Fizik Vento Arione R1 Adaptive saddle is designed for optimized power transfer and a high degree of rider freedom of movement. Its flat geometry stabilizes pelvic position, while the extended saddle nose allows for effective performance support under high load, such as when riding against the wind or uphill. The side areas with WingFlex technology are elastic and adapt to thigh movement, ensuring unrestricted pedaling motion even at high cadences and during longer load intervals. Reduced, finely tuned padding provides direct feedback from the bike without significant compromise in long-distance comfort. The 3D printed padding offers enhanced support and stability during long races in a forward, aerodynamic position.
Thanks to the innovative Adaptive 3D printing technology, which uses the DLS (Digital Light Synthesis) process, the saddle's properties have been significantly improved, which would be impossible with conventional materials and techniques. This manufacturing process allows for the precise generation of four different damping zones, significantly increasing comfort in exposed areas, reducing weight, and optimizing freedom of movement. The open honeycomb structure also ensures a very high level of breathability, preventing the risk of painful chafing, especially in the summer months. The saddle is also designed with durability and robustness in mind, and cleaning is simple, just rinse with water.
