Fenix CL30R portable rechargeable lantern
The Fenix CL30R is an extremely powerful rechargeable lantern that can be used to illuminate a room, campsite, tent, or desk. High-brightness LEDs hidden under a cylindrical diffuser provide a light output of up to 650 lumens (ANSI) with a neutral white light hue and a runtime of up to 300 hours. The CL30R is powered by three 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 2600 mAh (included in the package), which are charged directly in the lantern via a micro-USB connector. In an emergency, the lantern can be powered by just one or two batteries (runtime will be proportionally shorter) or six disposable CR123A batteries. The lantern offers a total of six lighting modes and features a battery level indicator. The lantern also has a USB output, so it can be used as a POWERBANK to charge a mobile phone and other USB devices.
Thanks to its durable and impact-resistant construction with IPX-7 rating, the flashlight is waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter. The top of the lantern is equipped with a hanging loop for suspension. Mounting options are further expanded by a tripod thread on the bottom of the lantern.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Fenix CL30R Lantern Parameters:
The light source is high-brightness SMD LEDs with a neutral light hue.
Six output modes:
Measured with included 2600 mAh Li-ion 18650 battery: 650 lumens: (4.5 hours) -> 350 lumens (9 hours) -> 100 lumens (38 hours) -> 50 lumens (70 hours) -> 10 lumens (300 hours) -> 100 lumens strobe (70 hours).
Measured with 3500 mAh Li-ion 18650 battery: 650 lumens: (6 hours) -> 350 lumens (12 hours) -> 100 lumens (51 hours) -> 50 lumens (93 hours) -> 10 lumens (400 hours) -> 100 lumens strobe (93 hours).
Digitally regulated for constant brightness.
Three 2600 mAh 18650 batteries are included in the package; for replacement, 18650 batteries with a protruding positive pole can be used (flat-top positive pole batteries are not compatible). In an emergency, the lantern can be powered by just one or two batteries (runtime will be proportionally shorter), and six disposable CR123A batteries can also be used.
Charging via micro-USB connector. 5V USB output for charging mobile phones, GPS navigations, and other USB devices.
The batteries are well insulated against low temperatures, so the lantern can be used even at temperatures well below freezing.
Protection against accidental battery insertion in reverse (polarity).
The lantern has memory and will always turn on in the last set mode (does not apply to strobe).
Made of aluminum alloy and durable plastic, the lantern is impact-resistant against drops from a height of 1 meter.
Waterproof according to IPX-7 standard (immersion to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes). The lantern floats on water, so you won't drown it.
The omnidirectional diffuser creates a wide, even beam of light with a range of up to 35 meters.
The top is equipped with a hanging loop, the bottom with a thread for tripod mounting.
Dimensions 9.3 cm (diameter) x 13.6 cm (height). Weight 556 grams including batteries, 412 grams without batteries.
The package includes the lantern, three Fenix 18650 2600 mAh batteries, a spare o-ring, and a USB cable.
Usage:
From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the lantern on the batteries; remove it before first use. To turn on or off, press and hold the side button for approximately 1 second. Five power levels are switched by pressing the button, and strobe is activated by a double-quick press of the button.
Battery Level Indication - when the lantern is off, a short press of the button activates four status LEDs on the top. The number of illuminated LEDs indicates the approximate charge level of the batteries (less than 35%, 36-60%, 61-85%, more than 85%). When the batteries are nearly depleted, the lantern will automatically switch to lower output modes, and the status LED will start flashing.
Charging - before charging the lantern, open the rubber cover of the micro-USB connector. Connect it using the included USB cable to a computer, a mains USB adapter, or a car USB adapter. A standard mobile phone charger with a micro-USB connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the four status LEDs on the top flash; after full charging, all four LEDs light up continuously.
The batteries do not have a memory effect, so they can be recharged at any time without waiting for them to be fully discharged. Charging fully discharged batteries takes approximately 8.5 hours (depending on the power of the charging source used). During charging, you can only use the flashlight in the 100 lumens mode.
To power external USB devices (powerbank function), plug the cable into the lantern's USB port.
Note:
Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, as this will void the warranty.
If using disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to recharge them in the flashlight.
Never mix different types and capacities of batteries in the lantern.
If the flashlight flashes or does not turn on, it means the batteries are depleted. Please charge them.
Warranty:
Five-year warranty on the lamp, two-year warranty on the batteries.
