The Shimano SLX SL-M7100-IR right mechanical shifter is designed for MTB bikes with a 12-speed derailleur. The I-Spec EV mounting system allows direct attachment to the brake lever, simplifying the cockpit and making it easier to adjust the position of the controls. A 20% shorter lever reach and refined ergonomics provide quick and confident shifting without changing your grip on the handlebars, even in technical terrain.

Rapidfire Plus, Instant Release, and 2-Way Release technologies ensure immediate cable release and the option to shift in two ways – with your thumb or by pulling with your index finger – which is useful when fatigued or in demanding sections of the trail. The painted aluminum grip and the combination of aluminum and GFRP on the lever reduce weight while maintaining a firm response. In unboxed OEM form, the shifter is ready for direct use when replacing a component on a modern MTB drivetrain.
