There was a very big surprise. After almost 10 years of intensive riding, I discovered that I was riding on the wrong saddle width. At first I didn't pay any attention to it. I've always told myself that a "nice ass" can't get used to it". This year, health problems started to appear - always after a ride. First, I changed the gate (I thought the problem was a worn insole of the gate), I speculated about the tilt of the saddle, until I managed to measure the width
sit bones (125mm). As I discovered that I ride a narrow saddle, I took this wider (145 mm) affordable one from BBB to test. The price/performance ratio is simply EXCELLENT, but what we mainly wanted was that my health improved in the "crotch area".

Sedlo veľmi veľké prekvapenie. Skoro po 10 rokoch intenzívneho jazdenia som zistil, že jazdím na zlej šírke sedla. Spočiatku som tomu nevenoval nejakú pozornosť. Vždy som si nahováral, že "fajnová riťka" si nevie zvyknúť". Tento rok sa začali ozývať zdravotné problémy - vždy po jazde. Najskôr som vymenil gate (myslel som, že problém je opotrebovaná vložka gatí), špekuloval som s náklonom sedla, až som sa dokopal si zmerať šírku
sedacích kostí (125mm). Čo som zistil, že jazdím úzke sedlo, tak na skúšku som zobral toto širšie (145 mm) cenovo dostupné od BBB. Vyhotovenie pomer cena/výkon je priam EXCELENTNÉ, ale o čo my hlavne išlo, že sa mi v "rozkroku" zdravotne polepšilo.

Variant BBB BSD-142 Echelon sedlo, 155 mm

This saddle has excellent ergonomics. It is rather a harder saddle, but the aforementioned ergonomics compensate for this. I ride without a cycling pad and up to about 50km without any problems. Above 50km I recommend riding with a pad, as I can already feel my bones quite well. I also think that the more the rider gets used to it and the more often he rides, the less the hardness of the padding will be a problem. I ride it on MTB and it also absorbs bumps well, so overall this saddle is very comfortable. For the price, a good buy. It is worth trying it out.

Toto sedlo má výbornú ergonómiu. Patrí síce skôr medzi tvrdšie sedlá, no spomínaná ergonómia toto kompenzuje. Jazdím bez cyklo vložky a do cca 50km bez problémov. Nad 50km už odporúčam jazdiť s vložkou, nakoľko už dosť cítim kosti. Myslím si tiež, že čím viac bude jazdec zvyknutý a čím častejšie bude jazdiť, tým bude tvrdosť polstrovania riešiť menej. Jazdím ho na MTB a vie tiež dobre odtlmiť nerovnosti, takže celkovo je toto sedlo veľmi pohodlné. Za danú cenu výhodná kúpa. Stojí za to vyskúšať ho.

Variant BBB BSD-143 Echelon sedlo, 165 mm

The Echelon BSD-143 saddle replaced the BSD-72 on gravel, where I was bothered by the stitching around the "anatomical hole".
The new saddle is compared to the BSD-72:
+ a little harder
+ wider by a good centimeter
+ anatomical opening is slightly wider
+ I feel the sit bones earlier (it's harder), but after the 4th hour of riding it's better than on the BSD-73
- 165mm looks like a spoiler on a car
186cm/85kg/about 13cm-sit bones might still help.

Sedlo Echelon BSD-143 nahradilo BSD-72 na gravely, na ktorom ma tlačilo šitie okolo "anatomického otvoru".
Nové sedlo je oproti BSD-72:
+ o niečo tvrdšie
+ širšie o dobrý centimeter
+ anatomický otvor je o niečo širší
+ sedacie kosti síce cítim skôr (je tvrdšie), ale po 4. hodinovej jazde je to lepšie ako na BSD-73
- 165mm vyzerá ako spojler na aute
Ešte by mohlo pomôcť 186cm/85kg/ asi 13cm-sedacie kosti.

Variant BBB BSD-141 Echelon sedlo, 145 mm

I gave reviews and I'm really satisfied. It takes me a little longer to settle in, because so far I've been riding saddles without a hole. I took a test ride, which was supposed to be used to fine-tune the fit, and it went so well that I had 100km left to ride ?. What was painful no longer hurts. I recommend it.

The saddle fit me so well that I bought another one for my MTB. But, you wonder, it doesn't fit me as well there as it does on the road. But it's still fine.

Dal som recenzie a som naozaj spokojný. Trochu dlhšie mi trvá kým sa usadím, lebo doteraz som jazdil sedlá bez otvoru. Dal som si skúšobnú jazdu, ktorá mala slúžiť na doladenie posedu a tak sa mi dobre išlo, že s toho ostal 100km výjazd 🙂. To čo tŕplo už netŕpne. Odporúčam.

Sedlo mi tak sadlo, že som kúpil ešte je na MTB. Ale čuduj sa svet, tam mi to až tak nepasuje, ako na cestaku. Ale stále v pohode.

I changed the saddle from the original stock one to the bike. I had problems with tingling in sensitive areas. Right after the first ride I noticed a huge difference in the fit. Nothing hurts, everything is pulsating as it should, so maximum satisfaction. The saddle also allows for a sportier fit, so I use the lower grip more often without restrictions... In other words, I realize that I've been riding on an unsuitable saddle for twenty years

Sedlo som menil z pôvodného sériového ku bicyklu. Mal som problémy s tŕpnutím chúlostivých partií. Hneď po prvej jazde som zistil obrovský rozdiel v posede. Nič netŕpne všetko sa prekrvuje ako má, takže maximálna spokojnosť. Sedlo umožňuje aj športovejší posed takže častejšie používam aj spodný úchop bez obmedzení... Inými slovami zisťujem že som jazdil dvadsať rokov na nevhodnom sedle

Hello bikers. The saddle is very well made, but on the other hand it is very hard. I didn't expect that at all. I have been cycling for 26 years and I have never had a problem with the seat. It is a bench, but I will give it a chance. Maybe I will get used to it. After a few rides and adjusting the inclination, I rate the saddle at full marks. When the saddle inclination is set correctly, it is comfortable. No back pain.

Dobry den bikeri. Spracovanie sedla je velmi dobre,ale na druhej strane je veeelmi tvrde. To som vôbec necakal. Venujem sa bicyklom uz 26 rokov a nikdy som nemal problem s posedom. je to lavica,ale dam mu sancu. Mozno si zvyknem. Po niekolkych jazdach a uprave sklonu hodnotim sedlo na plny pocet.Ked sa nastavi spravne sklon sedla,tak je pohodlne.Ziadna bolest zadku.

I bought a BSD 142, that is, 155mm, it doesn't look the best on the XCéčka, but it's cool, comfortable, I simply don't have a problem after a 70km ride! I had a problem with the serial orbea saddle, I could feel the bleeding and the sit bones right away. I use Craft cycling pants with a C2 insert. Maximum satisfaction, and even if I wear Casteli from Ebay!

Kúpil som BSD 142,čiže 155mm,už to na tom XCéčku nevyzerá naj,ale pohoda,komfort,jednoducho po 70km výjazde nemám problém! Mal som problém so sériovým sedlom orbea,prekrvovanie a sedacie kosti som cítil hneď. Používam cyklo nohavice od Craft s vložkou C2. Maximálna spokojnosť,a tnd aj keď dám na seba Casteli z Ebay!

I am very happy with this saddle. With other saddles I have tried, I had problems with lack of blood circulation in my private parts as well as my legs (I had to move away often to get blood flowing to both parts). This style of saddle with a hole was recommended to me by a friend and it is great. I have this saddle on both of my bikes - road and full mtb.

S týmto sedlom som veľmi spokojný. Pri ostatných sedlách, čo som skúšal, som mal problém s nedokrvením intímných partií ako aj nôh (musel som si často odsadať aby sa mi obe partie dokrvili). Tento štýl sedla s otvorom mi odporučil kamarát a je to super. Mám toto sedlo na oboch svojich bicykloch - cesťák aj full mtb.

The saddle seems to be of quite good quality and aesthetically very nice. My wife noticed it too, so I couldn't hide my new purchase. It's harder, so I ride it exclusively with pants with pads, but it suits me. It gave me relief in sensitive areas (dramatically) and I could even adjust my seat to be more aggressive.

Sedlo sa mi zdá celkom kvalitné a esteticky veľmi pekne vyzerá. Všimla si ho aj manželka, takže novú kúpu sa mi nepodarilo zatajiť. Je tvrdšie, jazdím ho teda vyslovene s nohavicami s vložkami, ale vyhovuje mi. Uľavilo sa mi v citlivých partiách (dramaticky) a mohol som si dokonca nastaviť agresívnejší posed.

I give 5 stars, even though I found out that even the narrowest version is too wide for me and sometimes I feel it in the size.
It is harder, but that suited me quite well. I positively assess that it is possible to comfortably change the sitting position forwards and backwards, so that you can relax in tight spots.

Davam 5 hviezd, aj ked som casom zistil, ze aj ta najuzsia verzia je pre mna siroka a casom to citim v bedrach.
Je tvrdsie, ale to mi celkom vyhovovalo. Pozitivne hodnotim, ze sa na nom da prijemne menit poloha sedenia dopredu a dozadu a tak si nechat oddychnut zatazovanym miestam.

Once again, I was right and I went in the right direction. The saddle is diametrically different from the one that came with my bike, in a good way. The central selection did what I expected, that is, it didn't push where it shouldn't have, and the rear support is very good.

Opät som mal raz zasa pravdu a vybral som sa tym správnym smerom. Sedlo je voči tomu môjmu seriovo dodavanemu na bajk diametralne odlišne a to v tom dobrom slova zmysle. Stredove vybratie zapričinilo to co som aj očakaval, cize netlačilo tam kde nemalo a zadna opora je velmi dobra.

Mam na cestaku a totalny top. Ako zacinajuci prostatik si neviem vynachvalit posed ktory vobec netlaci aclovek doslova sedi na zadku. Jazdil som.aj cez 100km naraz a super. Za tie peniaze je to porovnatelne so specialized toupe a pritom lacnejsie

I bought the saddle for my second bike, the 155mm width (BSD-142) suits me perfectly, you just need to play with the saddle angle. I highly recommend it (but be careful, it may not fit everyone). The shape of the saddle and the workmanship are gentle on cycling pants.

Sedlo som kúpil už na druhý bike, v šírke 155mm (BSD-142) mi totálne vyhovuje, len sa treba pohrať s náklonom sedla. Vrelo odporúčam (no pozor nemusí sadnúť každému). Tvar sedla a spracovanie je šetrné k cyklonohaviciam.

Vzdy som mal rad sedadla BBB, tak som si bol viac menej isty, ze bude dobre. Ocakavania sa splnili, patri medzi makke, teda pohoda. Velku dieru nejako extra necitim, ale asi prostata o tom by vedela povedat viac.

Kúpil som BSD 143 a po prvom výjazde som si nebol istý či som dobre spravil. Sedlo mi prišlo dosť tvrdé, avšak chcelo to len trosku si zvyknúť. Zbavil som sa nepríjemného tŕpnutia rúk a mužských partii.

Po roku a pol používania hodnotím veľmi dobre. Používam na MTB a aj na Gravel biku. Sedlo ma už svoje známky opotrebenia ale to ktomu patrí. Skvelé sedlo za super cenu. Tvrdosť - zlatý stred.

Myslim ze vyborne sedlo. Dal som ho miesto serioveho na cestak a pocity su vyborne. Co je zaujimave, po vymene sedla mi prestali trpnut ruky. Samozrejme to moze byt nahoda .
