RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate RC2 D1 shock, 205 x 60 mm, without spring
The RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate RC2T is a top-tier coil shock developed specifically for the Santa Cruz Megatower 2 frame (from model year 2022). It offers the typical, very sensitive response of a steel spring at the beginning of the travel, firm support in the mid-stroke, and confidence during hard landings thanks to the adjustable end-stroke stop. The shock is tuned to work excellently with Charger 3.2 damping forks and offers a wide range of fine individual adjustments for enduro, downhill, and e-MTB.
Adjustable compression and rebound damping allow you to adapt the shock's behavior to different riding styles and rider weights, while the newly designed internal base valve reduces internal forces, improves sensitivity, and maintains traction in technical terrain. Thanks to the Adjustable Bottom-Out (ABO) system, you can easily fine-tune the stiffness of the final part of the travel without negatively affecting the beginning and middle of the stroke.
