The Shimano Deore RD-M4120-SGS rear derailleur is designed for mountain and trekking bikes with 2x10 or 2x11 drivetrains. The low profile with Shadow RD+ technology helps reduce the risk of impacts from rocks and other obstacles, keeping the derailleur closer to the frame. The long SGS cage ensures sufficient range for changing gears between fast flats and steep climbs, so shifting remains smooth even when riding on challenging terrain or scenic roads.

A clear advantage is reliable, crisp shifting even when you're pedaling hard – making it suitable for regular rides, recreational trips, and sporty outings without the need for top-tier racing technology. The OEM version in non-original packaging is a practical solution for workshops, building new bikes, or replacing damaged parts, where functionality is prioritized over the box.
