Nova Ride Carbon Ceramic derailleur cage

Carbon cage with 3mm wall thickness ensure maximum possible torsional stiffness when shifting gears. Thanks to the 14-tooth upper and 17-tooth lower pulley, the movement of the chain is optimized when passing through the pulleys, minimizing bending and friction, thus saving 4-6 watts compared to a standard cage. Both color-anodized pulleys are made of solid AL7075 duralumin alloy and equipped with full ceramic bearings with minimal rolling resistance, which do not require any special maintenance or lubrication!



Full ceramic bearings feature high-precision ceramic balls as well as ceramic races made of silicon nitride. The main advantages of full ceramic bearings compared to standard bearings are their longer lifespan, lower weight, higher strength, lower rolling resistance, and excellent anti-corrosion properties. Their weight is about 60% lower, while they are 7x stronger compared to steel balls. The sealing used minimizes friction and protects the bearing against dirt ingress.
