The Magura CT5 is a powerful and low-maintenance hydraulic disc brake designed for urban, allroad, and light MTB use. Thanks to its robustness and ease of maintenance, it is ideal for commuters and recreational riders. It offers high braking performance and comfort, while retaining the genes of the proven MT5 series, allowing it to effortlessly handle light off-road conditions. In combination with "Magura E-Bike Optimized" components (Sport brake pads and MDR-C / MDR-P brake discs), it is also predestined for use on e-bikes.
The ergonomics of the Magura CT brake levers are perfectly adapted to the demands of urban and allroad use. With a clearly defined pressure point, low operating force, and easy modulation, the levers provide safety and control in every situation. The new axial CT lever master cylinder features an enlarged expansion reservoir, which reduces the occurrence of air in the system and ensures perfect long-term function. The focus on long service life with low maintenance is also underlined by the use of durable and quiet Magura Sport brake pads.
The Magura CT5 brake caliper, derived from the proven MT calipers, utilizes the proven 4-piston performance. This ensures high deceleration values, enabling safe stopping in the city and during allroad use. With Magura Sport brake pads and reinforced MDR-P or MDR-C brake discs (sold separately), it prevents premature wear and ensures constant braking performance.
