Galfer Standard (black): I read various contrasting reviews, but as a frequent perma brake rider, I can only recommend it and say that the MT5 e-stop and Storm HC discs have an incredible anchor. I put them in front, and I can't wait to tear off the Magura 8.P Performance at the back and put them there too. They are very quickly broken in, and they bite more than any Magura (in my opinion, more or at least as much as Race). The front brake literally stains me so much that I'm afraid I'll soon put OTB on the sheets
Long story short: a better and cheaper alternative to 8.P Performance.
PS: they squeak a little when wet, but certainly less unpleasantly than maguras + you hardly feel any loss of braking effect.

Galfer Standard (čierne): Čítal som rôzne kontrastné recenzie ale za mňa ako častého perma brzdiča môžem len odporučiť a povedať, že na MT5 e-stop a Storm HC kotúčoch neskutočná kotva. Dal som ich dopredu, a už sa neviem dočkať, kedy zoderiem vzadu Magury 8.P Performance a dám ich aj tam. Pritom veľmi rýchlo zabehnuté, a kúšu viac ako hocktoré magury (podľa mňa aj viac alebo minimálne rovnako ako Race). Predná brzda mi doslova flekuje až sa bojím, že čoskoro dám na listoch OTB
Long story short: lepšia a lacnejšia alternatíva k 8.P Performance.
PS: za mokra máličko pískajú, určite ale menej nepríjemne ako magury + necítiť takmer vôbec úbytok brzdného účinku.

The Galfer FD487 G1053 Standard model has similar braking performance to the standard original pads that came with the MT7 brakes. They are a little noisier than the original, but not so much that it bothers me. I can't judge the lifespan yet, as I've only been riding them for a short time, and that's on eBay.

I recommend the 8.P pads as a replacement for the Magura ones. They have a sharper start, they only squeak a little when braking, but nothing terrible. Plus they have a thicker layer of brake fiber, so they have a slightly longer lifespan.

Odporúčam ako náhradu za Magura platničky 8.P. Majú ostrejší nábeh, iba trošku pískaju pri brzdení, ale nič hrozne. Plus majú hrubšiu vrstvu brzdného fibru, čiže trošku dlhšia životnosť.

First tests so far and I would say they are a bit more biting than the Magura 8.P Performance but also a bit noisier.

Zatiaľ prvé testy a povedal by som ze su troska kúsavejšie ako Magura 8.P Performance ale aj troska hlučnejšie.
