The spacers are installed without completely disassembling the seatpost and without special tools, so you can comfortably make the adjustment in your home workshop. It's the ideal solution when only a few millimeters are missing for the seatpost to fully retract into the frame, or when you want to achieve an optimal riding position at full extension.
