The FOX 36 Factory Grip X 29" suspension fork is a top-tier all-mountain and enduro solution for riders who want maximum race performance without unnecessarily complicated setup. It offers 160 mm of travel and a perfectly tuned stiffness-to-weight ratio, so it can handle very rough terrain while remaining precise in steering. The new Grip X damper cartridge was designed for aggressive downhill riding as well as efficient uphill pedaling, while maintaining intuitive control of settings.
The Float EVOL air spring with a larger negative chamber ensures an exceptionally sensitive start to the travel with confidence and support in the mid-stroke, which you'll appreciate in fast sections full of roots and rocks. The optimized 36 series chassis made of aluminum alloy and magnesium provides precise tracking, while the Genuine Kashima Coat finish on the stanchions minimizes friction and ensures smooth operation even with prolonged use. Internal bypass channels help maintain stable suspension characteristics at full travel without unwanted pressure build-up in the lower legs.
The Grip X cartridge offers independent adjustment of high-speed and low-speed compression, as well as low-speed rebound, so demanding riders can fine-tune the fork precisely to their preferences. The integrated "Firm Mode" allows for quick stiffening of the fork before longer or more technical climbs, increasing pedaling efficiency and reducing unwanted bobbing without completely losing traction. With proper SAG adjustment and regular lower leg service, the fork's performance remains smooth and reliable long-term.
