FOX 38 Factory GripX2 29" suspension fork
The FOX 38 Factory GripX2 29" MY27 is a top-of-the-line, next-generation enduro and all-mountain fork, designed for maximum sensitivity, control, and consistent performance in the most demanding terrain. It builds on the success of the previous generation, but instead of further increasing stiffness, it brings a significant reduction in friction, smoother operation, and better response under load. It adopts key technologies from the new FOX 40 downhill fork and translates them into a package for aggressive riding.
The new GlideCore air spring with both horizontal and vertical compliance minimizes internal friction and increases sensitivity to small bumps. Generatively designed lower legs with increased bushing overlap reduce friction under lateral load and contribute to longer service intervals. The integrated MCU Bottom-Out Bumper ensures a smooth, progressive end to the travel, making the fork feel "bottomless" even on hard impacts.
The updated GripX2 damping cartridge provides very precise compression control and stability in steep and rough sections, while improved bleed valves allow for quick pressure equalization during changes in temperature and altitude. The new shape of the crown and lower legs optimizes stiffness without unnecessary harshness, improving the bike's handling. The fork is ready for fender mounting and also offers a specific mount for the ABS sensor.
