The fizik Vento Arione R3 Adaptive saddle is a road saddle developed for efficient power transfer during aggressive riding with a pronounced forward lean. Its flat shape stabilizes the pelvis, while the extended nose of the saddle allows for effective support under heavy load, such as in headwinds or during climbs. The side sections with WingFlex technology flexibly adapt to thigh movement, ensuring a free circular pedaling motion even at high cadences and during long intervals. The thin, precisely tuned padding provides direct contact with the bike without significantly compromising overall comfort on long distances.
At the core of the saddle is a carbon-reinforced nylon shell that combines high strength with controlled flexibility for better vibration damping. The 7mm diameter hollow K:ium rails offer a balanced ratio of stiffness, corrosion resistance, and low weight, with the entire assembly weighing approximately 219g. The saddle features an open 3D-printed foam structure that, thanks to four different damping zones, specifically supports sensitive areas, increases comfort, and simultaneously optimizes freedom of movement when changing riding positions. Its airy honeycomb structure makes it highly breathable and easy to maintain – water is sufficient to rinse off dirt.
