Precise Ergonomics
- When cycling, leg power is transferred directly through the pedals with every rotation. The position of the pedals plays a crucial role in the efficiency of power transfer. The sole of the foot must be positioned precisely above the pedal axis. Furthermore, when viewed from directly in front of or behind the rider, the pedal position should form a line from the pedal axis through the knee to the hip joint.
Three Main Directions
- The TP1 facilitates the specific orientation of your pedals through three basic adjustments. The first is the adjustment of longitudinal orientation, the next is the Q-factor, and finally (with the exception of Speedplay pedals) the foot angle. All steps are clearly explained in the enclosed manual and form the main guide for ergonomic positioning.
