These chainrings are designed for Shimano Direct Mount cranksets. Wolf Tooth chainrings feature our patented Drop-Stop® design for the longest chain retention, durability, and performance.

 

There are several tooth profiles available for optimal performance depending on your chain type. Use Drop-Stop ST for use with 12-speed Shimano Hyperglide+ and 12spd KMC chains. Use Drop-Stop A for all 9, 10, and 11-speed chains or 12-speed SRAM Eagle, KMC, Connex, or Wippermann chains. Drop-Stop B is optimized for SRAM 12spd Transmission (Type T) and Road Flattop chains, but is compatible with all chains that work with Drop-Stop A.
