The Carved model is equipped with a cutout in the central part, which relieves pressure on sensitive areas – an ideal solution for riders seeking greater comfort on long distances. Brooks first introduced this type of cutout back in the 1890s.The saddle is made from premium leather tanned with vegetable tanning agents. Over time, it ages beautifully and adapts to the rider's body shape. Thanks to perforated side flaps and included laces, the width and tension can be adjusted, maintaining the saddle's optimal shape throughout its lifespan.
Tradition and detailed handwork
- The leather sides of the saddle are perforated and connected by lacing – similar to shoe lacing. Using the laces (in three color variants – blue, red, white, and black), you can adjust not only the shape but also the appearance of the saddle to your liking.
- The more you tighten the sides, the more the saddle rises in the central part and the cutout increases – for even greater relief.
- The combination of a tensioning wrench and side lacing allows for adjusting the stiffness and maintaining the saddle in its optimal form.
