T47 is a standard created by custom frame manufacturers. It has a thread, an inner diameter of 47 mm and a width of 73 mm. It has construction advantages in oversized and width, but also practical advantages of threads. The cups have pressed CeramicSpeed bearings. The Coated Bearing has CeramicSpeed balls running on a 3-micron thick coating placed on the surface of hardened steel races for greater durability and less friction.
