BB30 mountain bike frames are wider than road frames, 73 mm and share the same diameter; 42 mm. The bottom bracket allows you to install SRAM or Quarq MTB cranks into a BB30 mountain bike frame. This gives you minimal resistance, no adapters are needed. Our bearings are installed in aluminum cups that mate together for a quiet life. The cups come with installed CeramicSpeed bearings, coated bearings and hardened steel races for longer life and less bearing resistance.
