This Xberg 25 bike backpack from deuter is perfect for all cycling enthusiasts who want it all from a single backpack. It's innovative in that it combines a perfect combination of a bike bag that can be transformed into a comfortable daypack, which also looks great.
Using the clever folding lower half of the back panel, you can easily and quickly transform the Xberg 25 backpack into a bike bag. And vice versa. Snaps fix the panel in the upper or lower position, revealing either the quick-release BagFix system (for attaching to a luggage rack) or the Contact back system with ergonomic, well-ventilated shoulder straps.
The roll-top opening of the Xberg 25 backpack with buckle closure provides quick access to the contents of the main compartment. It can hold everything you need, a change of clothes or snacks. A removable organizer for a tablet, laptop, and office supplies is an interesting feature. The front pocket is for small items, but it can also hold a helmet. The backpack does not have side pockets for a water bottle, but on the side, you will find a hidden pocket for a mobile phone or other valuables or electronics.

SL (Slim Line) collection: Women's cut
Shorter cut
The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the Deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
Narrower shoulder straps
The SL shoulder straps have a pronounced S-shape and soft edges all around. In addition, the ends of the straps are narrow. For a perfect fit in the shoulder area – nothing pinches or rubs. Straps that are close together are tailored to the narrower female shoulders.
I am a man. Can I wear the SL backpack?
Yes! The SL cut is based on an average woman's body. Since not every woman is “average”, our standard models may fit some women. It is the same around. SL cut may fit some men:
- with slender figure, except for unisex cut
- with long legs, because they have shorter back
- with clothing sizes 44 - 48 (S/M)
Our Extra Long (EL) backpacks guarantee perfect carrying comfort for tall people! Athletes who are between 1.85 and 2.00 metres have difficulty finding backpacks that fit. That is why we have lengthened the back lengths of the most popular Deuter backpack models by 6 cm to 9 cm and adjusted them to the proportions of taller people.
Due to the larger space requirement, we have also adjusted the volume of the EL models: the size of these backpacks is therefore optimally tailored to the wearer. The back system, properties, and details of the individual EL backpacks correspond to the standard models.
