The ORTOVOX 120 COOL TEC LOGO NECKWARMER is very pleasant to the touch thanks to the special CORESPUN knitting technology; it is extremely light, thin, quick-drying, elastic, and durable at the same time. It contains a large amount of Merino wool, which excellently regulates temperature, wicks away moisture, and has antibacterial effects. Thanks to the cooling fibers of TENCELTM material, you won't feel hot during performance sports on mountain peaks even on the hottest summer days.
120 COOL TEC Material
For the 120 COOL TEC material, Ortovox uses a combination of materials consisting of 52% merino wool, 33% TencelTM, and 15% polyamide. The uniqueness of this material lies in the complex production process of the fibers themselves, the CORESPUN technology developed by the Südwolle Group©. The finest merino wool and TencelTM fibers are wrapped around a core of polyamide fibers. This technique results in fibers that are very soft and smooth to the touch.
- The resulting material is a perfect combination of the stability and durability of polyamide with the proven benefits of merino wool and the cooling effects of TencelTM material.
Highest quality merino wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years.
