Perfect helmet with MIPS technology at an unbeatable price. I was looking for a helmet with MIPS and with extended protection of the back of the head and temple area, which this helmet has. I was deciding between a bmx helmet, but those are worse ventilated. Or an mtb, but those are more robust and I don't ride trails. And I also didn't want to spend two kilos or more for a helmet.
And this helmet is exactly that “hybrid.” Something between a road/tour and a mtb helmet. Moreover, this helmet has an ideal size adjustment range for me. I have a small head and most manufacturers offer a range for size S 51/52-54, which is “ltt” for me and with a hat in winter it is already small. And size M is already big again.
So the size fit me as expected. The helmet is comfortable, nothing presses on me anywhere and it is very well ventilated. The helmet has rubberized holes for storing glasses, so the glasses hold well and without fear of losing them even in worse terrain or on good quality roads in Slovenia. The linings are of course removable and can be washed.
Although the helmet doesn't have a magnetic closure and an insect screen, which I would have liked... At least the screen. On the other hand, for a really great price you get a comfortable helmet with MIPS and higher head protection than road or tour helmets offer.
And I am very pleased that manufacturers have also offered this hybrid helmet with higher protection on the market, which is ideal not only for gravel and does not require wearing robust MTB or less ventilated BMX helmets. ?

Perfektná helma s technológiou MIPS za bezkonkurenčnú cenu. Hľadal som helmu s MIPS a s predĺženou ochranou zadnej časti hlavy a spánkovej časti, ktoré táto helma má. Rozhodoval som sa medzi bmx helmou, ale tie sú horšie odvetrané. Alebo mtb, ale tie sú zase robustné a traily nejazdím. A taktiež som nechcel za helmu minúť dve kilá a viac.
A táto helma je presne taký “hybrid.” Niečo medzi cestou/tour a mtb helmou. Navyše táto helma má pre mňa ideálny rozsah nastavenia veľkosti. Mám malú hlavu a väčšina výrobcov ponúka rozsah pri veľkosti S 51/52-54, čo je však pre mňa “ltt” a s čiapkou v zime už je aj malá. A veľkosť M je už zase veľká.
Takže veľkosť mi sadla podľa očakávania. Helma je pohodlná, nikde ma nič netlačí a je veľmi dobre odvetraná. Helma má pogumované otvory na odkladanie okuliarov, takže okuliare držia dobre a bez obavy straty aj v horšom teréne alebo na kvalitných zlovenských cestách. Výsteľky sú samozrejme odnímateľné a môžu sa prať.
Síce helma nemá magnetické zapínanie a sieťku proti hmyzu, čo by som teda uvítal… Aspoň tu sieťku no. No na druhú stranu, za naozaj super cenu získate pohodlnú helmu s MIPS a s vyššou ochranou hlavy ako ponúkajú cestné alebo tour helmy.
A som veľmi spokojný, že výrobcovia ponúkli na trh aj túto hybrid helmu s vyššou ochranou, ktorá je ideálna nie len na gravel a netreba pritom nosiť robustné mtb alebo menej odvetrané bmx helmy. 🙂

I finally found a helmet that fits my head perfectly, doesn't press anywhere, and I'm happy with how it looks on the bump on my neck
All the helmets I've had so far have seemed too big on my head, even though I had a good size, this one fits and isn't too bulky. The ventilation is okay, it's not a complete Emmental, so in the summer you sweat, but that's part of the sport and in weather below 20°C it's perfect.
There are holes for glasses, and they are treated with a rubber anti-slip coating and the glasses fit perfectly in them. However, the problem is that if you put the helmet on your head with your glasses in, the glasses legs push into my head. So I only use them to put my glasses away when my helmet is off. I tried turning the glasses around and also a different type but always the same ?

Konečne som našiel prilbu čo sedí na moje hlave výborne, nikde netlačí a aj ja som spokojný s jej vzhľadom na tej šiške čo mám na krku
Doteraz všetky prilby čo som mal sa mi vzhľadovo zdali veľmi veľké na mojej hlave aj keď som mal dobrú veľkosť, táto aj sedí aj nie je príliš ozrutná. Vetranie je v poriadku, nie je to úplný ementál, takže v lete sa človek spotí ale to patrí ku športu a v počasí pod 20°C je to perfektné.
Otvory na okuliare sú, aj sú ošetrené gumovou protišmykovou úpravou a okuliare v nich perfektne sedia. Avšak problém je že ak si dá prilbu na hlavu zo zasunutými okuliarmi, tak ma nožičky okuliarov tlačia do hlavy. Takže využívam len na odloženie okuliarov keď mám helmu dolu. Skúšal som otočiť okuliare a aj iný typ ale vždy rovnako 😔

A nice looking and well-made helmet, MIPS looks robust, not as fluffy as I have in my Trek Velocis helmet. It fits well, it is well ventilated. I want to point out one thing: my head size is 58, the helmet fits me just right, but I can't get a summer hat over the helmet. Therefore, with a head size of 58, I recommend choosing a larger helmet size.

Na pohľad pekná a kvalitne vyhotovená prilba, MIPS vyzerá byť robustný, nie také fifi pierko aké mám v prilbe Trek Velocis. Sedí dobre, odvetraná je dobre. Chcem upozorniť na jednu vec: číslo hlavy mám 58, prilba mi sedí tak akurát, ale letnú čiapku už po prilbu nedostanem .Preto pri veľkosti hlavy 58 odporúčam už voliť väčšie číslo prilby.

A great-fitting helmet, even for a larger head. It's been hit a lot and everything is as it should be. It looks great too (although it feels a bit more robust, which is no problem for me).

Skvěle padnoucí helma, i na větší hlavu. Dostala už nejednou pořádnou pecku a vše je jak má být. Vzhledově taky super (ačkoliv působí trošku robustněji, což za mě není žádný problém).

A very good helmet for gravel and MTB.
The helmet fits perfectly from the first time you put it on – it doesn't press, it fits well with cycling glasses and it doesn't move while riding. I appreciate the convenient adjustment system and the ability to easily attach glasses when climbing – they hold firmly and don't move.
A big plus for the MIPS technology and excellent ventilation, in the summer you can feel the draft even at slower speeds.
One star down for the lack of an insect screen - when riding in the forest or on dirt roads, insects sometimes get into the helmet.
Overall, a very high-quality and well-thought-out helmet that won't get lost even on longer adventure trips.

Veľmi vydarená prilba na gravel aj MTB.
Prilba sedí perfektne už od prvého nasadenia – netlačí, dobre sedí aj s cyklistickými okuliarmi a počas jazdy sa nehýbe. Oceňujem pohodlný systém nastavenia a možnosť ľahko upevniť okuliare pri výšľapoch – držia pevne, ani sa nepohnú.
Veľké plus za technológiu MIPS a výborné odvetranie, v lete cítiť prievan aj pri pomalších tempách.
Jedna hviezda dole za absenciu sieťky proti hmyzu – pri jazde v lese či poľných cestách sa občas do prilby dostane hmyz.
Celkovo ale veľmi kvalitná a premyslená prilba, ktorá sa nestratí ani na dlhších dobrodružných výjazdoch.
