Very good and well-made fenders. I haven't had aluminum fenders from SKS yet, so I can't judge their durability yet. But I expect that I will damage them somewhere while riding rather than them "falling apart" over time. Although I expect that they will probably withstand less damage than plastic fenders. It's still aluminum. But that doesn't matter at all.
I have had very good experiences with plastic fenders from SKS, they have lasted a long time and are still holding up (SKS Velo 55mm). They have practically never let me down and they fulfill their function perfectly.

When you have them mounted correctly with the minimum recommended distance from the wheel of at least 15mm along the entire length of the wheel, you will hardly notice them at first glance from the side. However, for me this is not enough, so at the end of the fender I have a greater distance from the wheel than 15mm. I don't really have a fetish for the "look" of a bike, so I didn't consider shortening the struts. Although it can still be adjusted. ?
I was a little worried that these aluminum fenders would make a little "rattle" or make some noise while riding. I haven't tried them on rough terrain yet, but on a broken gravel road or a shortcut when driving over a pothole, the fenders are more or less silent and I don't even know they're there.

Just be careful about compatibility with your bike. They may not fit perfectly. For example, my front fender didn't "fit" into the front fork on my Marin DSX FS. My tires are Vee Tire Rocketman 622x44. To be more specific, the fender fit just fine, but it was already in contact with the wheel and the wheel was rubbing against the fender. So if you want the front fender to fit on this bike model, you probably have to get a smaller tire size. I didn't want narrower tires, so I put a SKS Velo 55mm front fender, which I had on hand, and it fit there without any problems. And the wheel doesn't touch the fender and doesn't rub at all.

The rear fender is completely fine and fits without any problems and the rear wheel does not touch the fender at all. I have no problem with the Topeak Explorer 29r rear rack and everything fits together nicely. Although I now have two types of fenders on my bike and the front one is a little shorter than the aluminum fender, I don't mind it at all. They fulfill their function perfectly and that's enough for me.
I could have just put a set of SKS Velo mudguards on there, but what I don't like about them is that the rear mudguard is quite a bit shorter and doesn't mount all the way down to the chainring. And if I wanted dry feet, I would have to solve that myself with some kind of extension. At least that way I have one less problem.

PS: When I try the bike and fenders in worse terrain, I'll add information about how the fenders behave in such an environment.

Edit: After some testing, I'm adjusting the rating. The rear fender started to make some noises in rough terrain or on broken roads. It rattles a bit or whatever you want to call it, in short, it's a metallic sound like old fenders on an older bike. And I was also a little surprised by the not-so-ideal protection against splashing water. It's still okay from the back, but water sprays more from the sides of the fender. That's probably because of the fender's design, but you can see on the frame and on the bags I have on the rack how dirty they are from splashing water. So I'll probably replace the rear fender with a plastic Velo model. I have those on my trekking bike and they have much better protection against water.
But that's a shame. The fenders are really well made and look good as I described above, but their functionality is weaker.

Veľmi dobré a kvalitne spracované blatníky.

Nemám problém ani so zadným nosičom Topeak Explorer 29r a všetko pekne spolu sedí.

Zo zadu je to ešte v poriadku, no hlavne z bokov blatníka voda viac strieka.

Milan
