Meanwhile the 10-speed rear derailleur (36T-11T, 32-11T) now has the option of SHIMANO SHADOW RD technology, which creates a low profile rear derailleur with the function to stabilize the chain and reduce chain noise over rocky terrain, whilst still maintaining easy shifting performance. In addition to that, the new DEORE XT T8000 derailleurs and shifters work with stainless steel cables featuring an OPTISLICK coating for optimum performance.
