The Shimano Deore RD-M7200 rear derailleur is designed for riders who appreciate fast shifting, consistent performance, and durability, as well as mechanical simplicity. Visually, the components are inspired by the sleek design of the electronic Deore Di2 series. Technically, the mechanical 12-speed components match the performance of their electronic counterparts, making them a viable upgrade option for all MTB disciplines.The Shimano Deore RD-M7200 mechanical rear derailleur is based on a model from the Deore XT series and ensures exceptionally smooth shifting even under load. It uses a steel derailleur cage for increased durability and a robust construction with a wide link that provides additional strength. The wedge-shaped design protects against impacts on the trail by deflecting them and preventing the derailleur from snagging on obstacles. It is designed for HyperGlide+ drive systems to ensure reliable and fast shifting even under load. The Shadow ES design features a low profile and a dual spring chain stabilizer, which increases spring tension by 70% and eliminates protruding edges that could snag on rocks or roots.
