Chaoyang H-5113 MAKO SHARK 700x40C Hippo Skin tire, wire
Unique tread design in cooperation with a wider base of the tread provides extremely long life and puncture resistance. Central smooth directional tread surfaces guarantee low rolling resistance, allowing for faster and quieter riding. Raised tread edges provide excellent cornering traction and better rider feedback. The 30TPI tire construction ensures sufficient strength, durability, and last but not least, tire life. HIPPO SHIN puncture protection inserted between the tread and the tire carcass is composed of a mixture of cut Kevlar fibers and rubber (Kevlar floc). The layer thickness is 1.5mm and significantly improves tire stiffness and protection against punctures and flats. HIPPO SKIN protection is specially developed for city bikes.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
