They could be called a product of "convergence". A few years ago we were pioneers and brought the first warm Omloop shorts. We were inspired by racers who cut off their knee pads all the way to the bend of the knee. This happened at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad race on a cool sunny morning. We decided to make such pants. During production, we realized that we could do this without using an elastic hem, and that an extra 10 centimeters of fabric could add a lot of warmth. The first Omloop shorts were made of Thermoflex, designed for cold and dry conditions, similar to those usually found in the races that inspired us. The change occurred in 2020, when our third generation Nano Flex fabric was born, which is just as soft, flexible, breathable and warm as our Thermoflex fabric. However, we can now make these shorts for cold and dry conditions, but they will also perform excellently on wet days. They are still a professional tool: they are identical to the model supplied for Team Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl.

Castelli is a classic Italian brand known for its high-quality cycling apparel. They have been on the market since 1876, and they started with clothing for famous Italian football teams. In 1910, their first cycling clothing was made for the world champion Alfredo Binda. They introduced to marked their aerodynamic elastic bibs made from Lycra in 1977. Their list of groundbreaking innovations is very long, and it probably is also a reason why are they so famous. Castelli offers top apparel for all conditions and every bike discipline.
