Fenix UC30 XP-L rechargeable flashlight black

The second generation of the Fenix UC30 pocket rechargeable flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 1000 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 253 meters. It achieves higher performance and afterglow thanks to the installation of the most modern LED Cree XP-L HI. The package also includes a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which is charged directly in the lamp via the side USB connector. Alternatively, the flashlight can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.

The UC30 model has six lighting modes that allow you to choose between high performance and long endurance ( up to 150 hours ), there is also a stroboscopic flash mode for crisis situations. The lamp is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (while they are gradually discharged). There is also an indication of the state of charge of the batteries. This model is suitable for everyone who is looking for the best ratio of size, price and performance.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by briefly pressing the side button. To switch to flash mode, hold down the side button for about 1 second.

The control button can be locked so that it does not turn on by itself, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, quickly press the button twice again.

Charging - unfold the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the lamp and plug the included cable into the lamp (micro-USB connector), plug the other end of the cable into the computer or the USB adapter into the electrical network or the car (not included in the package). The side button lights up red while charging and turns green when fully charged. After charging the flashlight, carefully seal the charging connector again with a rubber cap. Charging a completely discharged battery takes about 3 hours. In an emergency, the light can also be used while charging, but only the 50 lumen mode will be available.

Battery charge status indication - After a short press of the button (the lamp must be switched off), the LED indicator in the button is activated. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Warning about the discharged battery - the side button starts flashing red and the light gradually automatically switches to the lowest mode.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the flashlight head yourself, this will void the warranty.

• When using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the lamp.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.

• If the flashlight blinks, does not switch to higher modes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • The batteries are almost empty - replace them or charge the accumulator.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with cotton wool dipped in alcohol.

  • The end is loose - add lubricant to the o-rings and tighten.
