Product description

A practical vest for aerobic movement in cold conditions, when from time to time we need to stop and stay warm - ski mountaineering, mountain climbing, cross-country skiing, but it also works great as a universal, year-round, insulating layer to increase thermal comfort during any adventures.

Thanks to the use of PrimaLoft® Gold Active+ synthetic insulation in two different weights (80 and 60 g/m²) and their strategic distribution, the vest does a great job of regulating body temperature when you're on the move and provides solid insulation even when you're standing - eliminating the eternal need to change layers.

Heavier, warmer (80 g/m²) insulation is used on the front and part of the back + collar and lighter and more breathable (60 g/m²) on the sides and a 10 cm wide strip that follows the spine (this panel tapers downwards and on the bottom hem vest measures 6 cm).

As has been customary with Raba in recent years, this model also uses insulation that is 55% made from recycled materials.

Perfect wind resistance is ensured by the proven Pertex® Quantum Air upper material. In addition to excellent wind resistance, it offers superior breathability thanks to the open woven structure, which makes it an ideal partner for active mountain use.

The vest has two YKK zippered hand pockets, the left one has a double-sided slider, and the entire vest can be conveniently folded into it. The resulting package can be attached to a backpack or harness for easier transport. An additional hidden breast pocket is ideal, e.g. for mobile phone to keep warm and extend battery life. The lower hem of the vest is removable on one side.

Vests from Rab

Rab was founded in 1981 by Scottish climber Rab Carrington in Sheffield, UK. Carrington established the brand after returning from an expedition to Argentina's Patagonia, where he learned how to make sleeping bags. Rab was later acquired by Equip Outdoor Technologies.
